Safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All of our team members are recruited in line with safer recruitment standards and have enhanced DBS checks.
Safeguarding is embedded throughout our services with alignment and compliance to Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023, Local Authority Safeguarding (inc LADO) procedures & qualified, appointed Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL’s).
We are not...
Quantock Outdoor Education is not a school. We are alternative education provision that provides part time sessions for young people up to 2.5 days per week, per term.
We encourage and nurture children to access formal and informal education.
We Are...
Quantock Outdoor Education is dedicated to creating safe connections and environments that promote development and celebrate all achievements.
We are accepting of every child's needs by being a trauma informed alternative education provider, practicing this through our bespoke programmes.
We Deliver...
Our core belief is that by delivering programmes of work through outdoor activities and alternative education we can connect with children, listen, communicate, and motivate them.
As a company, we value feedback and learning from our experiences. We are always open to new ideas and perspectives that can help us grow and improve
